Check Post Type — FPSC or Direct FBR
Inspector Inland Revenue (BS-16), Appraising/Valuation Officer, and other gazetted posts go through FPSC Competitive Examination or One Paper test. Assistant, DEO (BS-14), and support staff go through FBR direct recruitment or NTS/OTS.

Register on FPSC Portal
For FPSC posts: create account at fpsc.gov.pk. Fill complete profile — CNIC, education, experience. Apply for the specific FBR vacancy. Pay application fee (PKR 200–500) via 1-LINK/Allied Bank/online banking.

Prepare for One Paper Test

Download roll number slip from fpsc.gov.pk or SkillzDunya Test Schedule page 2–3 weeks before test. Bring original CNIC + roll number slip to test centre. Test is MCQ-based (OMR sheet).

Viva Voce & Medical
Candidates who qualify written test appear for FPSC viva voce (interview). After interview, selected candidates are referred to FBR for verification and medical examination. Appointment order is issued by Establishment Division.
