Monitor FPSC & FIA Notifications
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Inspector and Sub-Inspector (BS-14 to BS-16) posts are filled through FPSC. ASI and other support posts may go through FIA direct recruitment or NTS/OTS. Check fpsc.gov.pk and fia.gov.pk regularly.

Check Eligibility for FIA Sub-Inspector
FIA Sub-Inspector (BS-14): minimum Graduation (45% marks), age 20–27 years (government employees get 5-year relaxation), physical fitness standards: height 5'7" (male), weight proportionate, good eyesight. Inspector (BS-16): graduation + FPSC One Paper.

Apply Through FPSC
Register on fpsc.gov.pk, apply for the FIA post, and pay application fee (PKR 200–500). Fill all profile fields accurately — education, domicile, personal information. FPSC will send roll number slip for the written test.

FPSC One Paper / Written Test
FPSC One Paper (100 marks) for FIA posts: English (20%), Current Affairs/Pakistan Affairs (20%), Islamic Studies (10%), and relevant subject (30%), General Knowledge (20%). Past papers on fpsc.gov.pk and SkillzDunya.

Physical Test & Endurance
FIA requires a physical fitness test after written test: 1.5 mile run in 12 minutes, sit-ups, push-ups, and height/weight check. Prepare physically well in advance — candidates who fail physical are eliminated regardless of written test score.

Viva Voce & Background Verification
Qualified candidates appear for FPSC viva voce interview. FIA also conducts thorough police character verification and intelligence-based background check for all selected candidates before final appointment.
