How to Apply Online Guide

Chronological step-by-step selection path to secure your position

1

Find Official Advertisement

Check Military Lands and Cantonment Department's official website (https://mlc.gov.pk), SkillzDunya, or national newspapers. Pakistan Army, Navy, and Air Force advertise through Join Pak Army, Join Pak Navy, and PAF websites respectively.

2

Check Eligibility — Age, Education & Physical Standards

Armed forces have strict eligibility: age (usually 17–23 years for initial commissions), minimum Intermediate/Bachelor's education depending on the course/wing, physical fitness standards (height, weight, chest, eyesight), and medical fitness.

3

Register & Apply Online

Apply through the respective online portal (joinpakarmy.gov.pk, joinpaknavy.gov.pk, or paf.gov.pk). Fill the form carefully — verify CNIC, SSC/HSSC roll number, and contact details. Keep the application number for future reference.

4

Initial/Written Test

Most armed forces courses require an initial academic test (Intelligence Test, GK, Urdu, English, and Maths/Physics). Call letters are sent to eligible candidates by post/SMS. Appear at the designated test centre with original documents.

5

ISSB / Physical & Medical Tests

Candidates who pass the initial test are called for ISSB (Inter Services Selection Board) for commission posts, or Physical/Medical tests for soldier/airman posts. ISSB is a 4-day assessment covering intelligence, physical, psychological, and group tasks.

6

Final Merit & Training

Recommended/selected candidates are placed on final merit. Commissions join PMA Kakul, PN Academy Karachi, or PAF Academy Risalpur for training. Soldier/Airman recruits join their respective training centres.
